DEBATE: Does Romans 9 Teach Corporate Election?

Romans 9 is often used by Calvinists and Arminians to argue for their flavors of individual election. Gaining traction in the academic community is an alternative interpretation of the passage, which proposes that Paul has in mind “corporate election,” or the election of a group. Dr. Kurt Jaros (PhD, University of Aberdeen) will be debating Mr. Sean Luke (MA, MDiv, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) on the question, “Does Romans 9 Teach Corporate Election?” Dr. Jaros takes the affirmative and Mr. Luke takes the negative.
